Tis a night so dark and dreary, and what a dreary night it was. Till the day Raven dies. On a sad dreary night told. Here is how it all began. It starts when a fight began long, long ago between the shadowsmen gods argued with the bad luck gods. And this fight has started eons and eons ago. As a dreary fight began war broke out and each god told the mortal one thing and one thing alone-kill the others.
Raven and Jake were stuck between bad lucks and shadowsmen. And Raven being the shadowsmen and her friend Jake being the bad luck they could not see each other a lot. But as they run home two shadowsmen soldiers standing at the edge of the street Raven, gives Jake the hood to hide him-self so he doesn’t get killed. One soldier said, “Little shadowsmen girl were is your hood.” Raven said, “I’m sorry but I must have left it at home.” Then the soldier said, “All right but be sure not to forget it again. Now run along.”
Jake is mad but however Raven can’t hide him forever. The bad lucks are from the abandoned part of shadowland and no one saw such strange powers before. And a clan with the power to turn into one animal gave each side the backup they needed to succeed in the war. Problem is each side had the clan but the each side had different beliefs. And eons ago the beliefs began. That is why the war broke out. But Jake and Raven make it home safely and no one in sight.
“Raven the war must end and if it doesn’t were both going to die.” Jake said. Next day sitting in a chair still no one in sight Raven waits for her parents to come home and Jake brushing his short black hair also waiting for Raven’s parents as well. Raven’s purple hair rushed through the wind. Jake really doesn’t want to see Raven’s parents and knowing his life is on the line. And that clan-Jake is one of them-he is the leader. He is known as leader lion for the part of the clan that wants to stop the war. Raven is also in the clan-she is the cheetah. And as Raven and Jake turn into the animals and walk outside and Jake says “What shall we do sister cheetah for if any mortal found we are apart of the clan they will rip off our skin, feed on our flesh and pick at our bones. If they find out were not fighting and were part of the clan that’s what they are going to do!” though Jake and Raven call them sister and brother is because they have to and if they don’t-they die. Some of the clan doesn’t want to fight many will just die than fight. Raven and Jake will rather die than fight because they want nothing to do with it. Next day Jake and Raven had to drop out of school to protect and feed the clan.
On such a cold winter day, February to be exact, the clan was running out of food and water. Raven turned into a cheetah and walked out to protect the tent. The shortage of food hurt most of the clan, and slowly waiting for prey-hurt them even more. And the hunger scratched at Raven’s stomach. But the rule stands-feed the clan before thy self. The next day Jake and Raven manage to get through the day but tomorrow will be different. The next day the clan really needed help so Jake and Raven drop out of high school. The clan runs off into the shadows-running in fear-because the clan was found they were hiding and scared them off. The tents are wrecked, the fire is put out and all the food is gone. Being that all the food is gone no one can eat-some of them starved. Raven sleeps in dark and dreary shadows of the night. But when they reach the tents something strange happens.
